CE EVENING - WINTER 2026 GWD-19- Graphic Design Concepts
THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the WINTER 2026 Semester for the EVENING AEC program Graphic & Web Design GWD-19 (AEC-LCE-OZ) January 12th to June 4th, 2026 (M-W-TH: 18:00 - 22:20 - first 10 classes, 18:00-22:00 - last two classes).
TYPE OF CONTRACTS: CHARGE DE COURS (À LA LEÇON) (1-2.12) COURSE: 412-B16-AB TITLE: Graphic Design Concepts HOURS: 60 SECTION(S): one (1)
N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

GRAPHIC & WEB DESIGN (412)
- Bachelor's or equivalent* degree in Fine Arts
- Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered
- Minimum of 3 years working experience directly related to the discipline of digital design / graphic arts
- Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
- Excellent English communication skills essential

Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred, as in the context of Bill 96 and the changes to the Charte de la langue française, if there is a need, the candidate must be willing and able to teach in French

Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems
In addition to above: a Digital art/design portfolio is encouraged.
Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
